Teach Kids Problem Solving Through Programming

This website and its contents have been developed as part of an assignment for the Design for Learning course in the Instructional Design and Technology program at Virginia Tech. As graduate students, we were assigned to develop a learning module using the Dick & Carey instructional systems design (ISD) model, utilizing our knowledge of various learning theories throughout the process.

Our learning module aims to teach problem solving through the ScratchJr application as it was originally proposed by our colleague, Aakash Gautam. Throughout this website, you can access our project materials, which are grouped into four categories based on the ISD model. The first category is the analysis, followed by design, development, and evaluation.
