Summative Evaluation
Children's Evaluation
To get an idea of the children's satisfaction with the workshop, the facilitators should ask students to complete a simple survey consisting of a smiley face (for a satisfactory experience) or a frowny face (for a bad experience). Facilitators may create a poster-sized version of the image below and ask the children to clip a clothes pin to the face that matches their experience or print index card versions on which they can mark their response.
Parent Feedback Form
After the workshop, parents will be e-mailed a feedback form to provide summative feedback about the workshop. This also allows the facilitators to find out how the follow-through activity at home is going for each child.
